Method 1: Change DNS Nameservers

Changing your DNS nameservers to SonHost’s nameservers is one of the most common methods to link your domain.

  1. Log in to your domain registrar account: Go to the website where you purchased your domain.
  2. Navigate to DNS settings: Find the section where you can manage DNS or Nameservers.
  3. Update the nameservers:
    • Replace the existing nameservers with the following:
      • ns1.sonhost.com
      • ns2.sonhost.com
  4. Save changes: After updating, save your changes and allow some time for the DNS propagation.

Method 2: Create an A Record

If you prefer to keep your current DNS provider, you can create an A Record that points your domain to SonHost’s IP address.

  1. Access your DNS management panel: Log in to your domain registrar’s website and find the DNS management section.
  2. Add a new A Record:
    • Host: @ or yourdomain.com
    • Points to: 95.111.202.215
  3. Save the record: After entering the details, save the new A Record.

Method 3: Contact Technical Support

If you encounter any difficulties or prefer direct assistance, you can reach out to SonHost’s technical support team.

  1. Compose an email: Write an email explaining your issue or requesting help with adding your domain.
  2. Send to support@sonhost.com: Address your email to the SonHost support team.
  3. Wait for a response: The support team will guide you through the process or resolve any issues you may have.
